Hero Bio:
George L. Jordan, born at Colorado Springs, Colorado, in October, 1892. Entered the service from Seven Troughs, Nevada, August 6, 1918. Served in Company G. 12th Infantry, 8th Division, until October 19th, 1918, when he was removed to the 8th Division Casual Camp. Died of disease at Camp Fremont, California, October 21, 1918. He left a sister, Mrs. Geo. Vanderpool, 3800 18th Avenue, Seattle, Washington. Private Jordan’s name is on the Honor Roll of those who went from Humboldt County to give their lives for the Nation.
